Psalm 98:1-9 Have you ever thought of the difference between a party and a funeral? A funeral is typically quiet and somber while a party is loud, filled with people talking and laughing. Parties are usually a lot more fun. How well do we celebrate the amazing gift that we have been given? This Easter Sunday we will be celebrating the most amazing event in history, the resurrection of Christ. Many times, church feels like a funeral. It’s quiet and somber, and people seem like they aren’t even happy to be there. Church should feel more like a party. We are celebrating the gospel, that Jesus was beaten, died on a cross, and rose from the dead, so we can have eternal life through Him. It’s the most exciting news in the world.
