Day 22 | Monday – Unlimited Water
Listen instead of reading
Don’t forget a Night of Prayer & Worship this Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
Read The Daily
3 Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! 4 I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. (Psalm 63:3-4)
In the vast expanse of the desert, where the scorching sun meets the arid land, David paints a vivid picture of his spiritual longing in Psalm 63. “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water” (Psalm 63:1). This is not a casual desire; it’s an intense, desperate yearning for a deeper connection with God.
As we are closing on the remaining days of our prayer and fasting, let David’s words resonate within our hearts. Just as a parched land yearns for rain, our souls are meant to thirst for the living water that only God can provide. Take a moment today to reflect on the state of your connection with Him. In your prayers, express the depth of your longing for God’s presence. Let your soul be satisfied as you draw nearer to Him in the stillness of prayer and fasting.
Reflect and Journal: How is your connection to God at the moment? Remember, you have it even better than David, because now Jesus is our living (and daily) water that never runs empty.
Prayer: Take time to pray for the following needs:
