Every Table Can Be a Temple
Read The Daily:
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
I’ve had some of the most worshipful moments of my life… around a table. Not on a stage. Not even with a worship playlist in the background. Just normal meals with honest friends, shared laughs, and the kind of conversations that remind you why grace is so good. And that’s the point. Worship was never meant to be confined to a stage or a Sunday. Jesus didn’t come to create a concert—He came to give you a connection. One that transforms how you live, not just how you sing.
That means your lunch break can be worship. That post-practice hang with friends can be worship. That moment where you choose peace instead of being petty? Worship. When you choose to forgive, speak life, or stay when it’s easier to scroll—those are the places heaven shows up. God isn’t just looking for hands raised—He’s looking for hearts surrendered. And that happens in the everyday.
Don’t underestimate what God can do through ordinary moments. When you know you’re loved by Him, you start seeing every part of your life as a chance to reflect that love. So whatever table you’re sitting at today, remember—it can be just as sacred as a church pew.
Because when you live loved, every moment becomes worship.
Prayer for the Day
God what are you showing me? What am I going to do about it?
God help me to see one person that I can serve through a kind word, random act of kindness, or simple gift today?

Later, as Jesus was teaching the people in the Temple, he asked, “Why do the teachers of religious law claim that the Messiah is the son of David? For David himself, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said, ‘The LORD said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’ Since David himself called the Messiah ‘my Lord,’ how can the Messiah be his son?” The large crowd listened to him with great delight. Jesus also taught: “Beware of these teachers of religious law! For they like to parade around in flowing robes and receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces. And how they love the seats of honor in the synagogues and the head table at banquets. Yet they shamelessly cheat widows out of their property and then pretend to be pious by making long prayers in public. Because of this, they will be more severely punished.” Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts. Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.” Mark 12:35-44
Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up. We reject all shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this. If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
