The Shirt That Wouldn’t Come Clean
Read The Daily:
“Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.” – Isaiah 1:18
We all have that shirt. The one that never gets truly clean, no matter how many times it goes through the wash. For Alisha, it was an actual shirt—stained with spaghetti sauce, yard work grime, and paint splatters. But it became something deeper: a symbol of how we carry around our own inner mess. Shame, regret, fear. You might not wear it on your sleeve, but maybe you’ve been wearing it in your soul.
At some point, we’ve all felt too stained, too broken, or too messy to be loved. Maybe your past feels like something you’d never want anyone to see, let alone God. But here’s the truth: Jesus doesn’t toss out messy people like an old ruined shirt. He steps into our lives and says, “You’re still worth it. You’re not ruined. You’re mine.”
God sees every stain and still chooses you. He doesn’t ask you to clean it up first. In fact, He knows you can’t—not fully. That’s what grace is all about. You bring Him the mess, and He brings the transformation.
So if you’re carrying around invisible stains—let this be your reminder: Jesus is better than bleach. He doesn’t just cover the mess, He makes you new.
Jesus is better than bleach

God what are you showing me? What am I going to do about it?
God help me to see one person that I can serve through a kind word, random act of kindness, or simple gift today?

Read The New Testament In A Year
Then his father, Zechariah, was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave this prophecy: “Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people. He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David, just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago. Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us. He has been merciful to our ancestors by remembering his sacred covenant— the covenant he swore with an oath to our ancestor Abraham. We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear, in holiness and righteousness for as long as we live. “And you, my little son, will be called the prophet of the Most High, because you will prepare the way for the Lord. You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins. Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” John grew up and became strong in spirit. And he lived in the wilderness until he began his public ministry to Israel. Luke 1:67-80
Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master—in heaven. Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should. Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone. Colossians 4:1-6
