I am fascinated by people who restore old things back to good condition. I watch in awe when somone can restore an old piece of antique furniture or rebuild a vintage car. I can look at something and see a big pile of useless junk. They look at that same something and are able to see what it could be.
This is how God is with people. We look at ourselves, and we see what we see. We see what we are. We see where we are right now. God looks at us and sees what could be with our lives. God always sees something inside of us that we can’t even see in ourselves. To God, who we have been or who we are do not matter near as much as who we can and will be in the future.
God sees more in you than you could ever possibly imagine. What could He be asking you to do or be that you wouldn’t think you could ever do or be?
