Read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

I have a friend whose garage was broken into a few years ago. Someone had stole hundres of dollars worth of tools, weight equipment, and other valuable items. When my friend’s dad asked him how the thieves God is with the padlock on the door, my friend admitted that he hadn’t locked the padlock. No matter how good the lock is, it is worthless without actually being locked.

Many people feel worthless. Like a padlock that won’t lock, they feel like they are useless. They are afraid to trust that God will use them and make good on His promises to them because they don’t think that they are good enough. It’s true, we would be worthless without God working in and through us. With Him in our life, we have the potential for great things.

What is it that God wants you to do that you just haven’t been doing because you are afraid? With God, His strength through your weakness is exactly enough, no matter what. God loves to use unsure, insecure, and fearful people  (just like us) to do the impossible.
