James 5:16 & Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 It’s a pretty well known fact that men don’t like to ask for help. We don’t want to ask for directions when driving or instructions on how to do something. We, often, would rather waste time trying to figure out something we don’t know than just simply asking someone who does. Men are typically too proud to ask for help. Everybody, though, is typically too proud to share our sin and shortcomings with other people. It’s tough to share our struggles with people and ask for help, but God made us to thrive in relationships. If you truly want to be healed, you have to have someone around to help you through it. Someone that will be there for you to keep you accountable, encourage you when times are tough, and challenge you when you are feeling weak. Who can you share your struggles with? Pray and ask God who you can share with and what you should share with them. Ask him to bring someone into your life to help you overcome your sin and shortcomings.
