Galatians 1:10 & Acts 4:18-20 Growing up playing football, I remember several coaches wearing High School football t-shirts that said “1. God 2. Family 3. Football” on the back of their shirts. As I’ve grown up, I’ve heard people talk about how we need to put God first in our life, and make family a priority, and, then, you can worry about other responsibilities like work, etc. While I think many people would make a list similar to this, with God and family on top, most of our lives tell a vastly different story. Our actions say that we are more concerned about other people’s opinions of us as opposed to what our family and closest friends think of us. More often than not, how we live every day, screams that we care more about what people say about us than what God thinks of us. While we may give lip service to God, most of us live as if God was the least important person in our life…especially on days that aren’t Sunday! How would your life look if you truly lived by a list that had God as your #1 priority and your family truly as #2 before everything else? READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Matthew 2]]>
