Read Hebrews 10:23-25

We all have things that we say are important to us or that we say are important to do. We say family and being smart with money is important. We say we know we should eat healthy and exercise. We are good at fooling ourselves into thinking things are important to us when they really aren’t. Many of these things that we know we should take care of, be involved in, or spend time on get pushed to the back burner over more frivolous things. We may think certain things are important to us, but our actions show what our true priorities are. Most of us would say going to church should be a priority, but we don’t always live out that priority. Sometimes sleep, sports, or pure laziness gets in the way. Going to church should be non-negotiable in your life and in your home. We need to make worshiping God at church something that is truly top priority in our lives. God is the creator and sustainer of the universe who sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for us. He is surely deserving of an hour or two a week from us to worship Him with others and to hear from His word. Do you make church attendance a top priority in your life?
