ALL IN | Crosstraining 10.5.12

Mark 12:28-34 Throughout our entire All In series, we have looked at Mark 12:30 which says: “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” As we’ve looked at the different aspects of going “all in” when it comes to our relationship with God, one thing is clear. A growing relationship with Jesus is intentional not accidental. There’s a lot of areas in life where we can luck out and have things accidentally work out in our favor. Growing spiritually is not one of those things. If you want to be closer to God, you have to be intentional about it. You have to be willing to do the things God has asked you to do. What do you need to do to grow your relationship with God and go “all in.” Do you need to spend more time with God through Bible reading and prayer? Do you need to connect with other followers of Jesus? Do you need to break free from materialism and become more generous? Do you need to use your gifts, skills, talents, and resources for God? Whatever it is that you need to do, it’s time to do it and go all in. You can’t do it halfway, and it won’t happen by accident.]]>
