Psalm 1 Have you ever been at a cookout or picnic where the wind blew all the paper plates and napkins all over the place? Or, have you ever been working with a lot of papers in a room with a ceiling fan and the wind from the fan scattered your stack of papers faster than you could blink? Living life without reading God’s Word is like being a stack of papers without a paper weight. When tough stuff comes along, you will having nothing to keep you in place. Chances are you’ll be knocked around everywhere. Knowing God’s Word is an anchor to help keep you where you need to be when things get crazy in life. If you don’t spend time reading the Bible, you won’t be able to respond to tough times the way that God wants you to. When you face tough times in your life, the best thing to do is stay faithful to God. If you remain obedient to God during the tough times, God will see you through it, and you’ll experience a breakthrough. Do you make reading God’s Word a priority in your life?
