ALL IN | Crosstraining 9.20.12

Mark 12:38-44 This week, during C3’s Crosstraining, we will be looking at C3’s Core Values. Here’s  #4: We will lead the way with irrational generosity. We truly believe it is more blessed to give than to receive. We’ve all seen the televangelists on TV offering some sort of blessing if we give a contribution to their ministry, and we’ve heard many stories of churches focusing on money and how to get more of it. We think most churches get a bad rap about money because of a few who haven’t been faithful with what people have given. However, we want to lead the way with irrational generosity. At C3, we aren’t a wealthy church. We are a poor church in an economically depressed area, but we will not allow that to keep us from being generous with what God has blessed us with. This is why giving. global, and local outreaches are such a huge part of what we do at C3. We want to honor God by giving away a portion of everything He has given to us. What about you?
