When the queen of Sheba came to visit king Solomon, it was a unique trip. The queen didn’t come to exchange gifts or form alliances, she came to ask Solomon hard questions. She wanted to stump Solomon with hard questions. Instead, Solomon wowed her with his wisdom – both in his ability to answer questions and in the ways he ordered his life and kingdom. His God-given wisdom impressed the queen of Sheba. This was the perfect time to point the queen to the source of his wisdom. He could have given God the credit and shared the greatness of God with her. Instead, he says nothing and allows the glory go to himself. Take time today to ask God to help you point people to Him in your life.
