Isaiah saw God, and it was unlike anything he could have imagined. Isaiah’s response wasn’t like he just saw some sort of celebrity, he was completely overwhelmed by his own sin in the presence of God’s holiness. His first thought was: “I’m doomed!” But God didn’t allow Isaiah to see Him to doom him. God had a job for Isaiah. Once Isaiah understood his unworthiness, God purified him and forgave him of his sins. Isaiah immediately became a willing servant. God asked for someone to be his messenger, and Isaiah said “I’ll go, send me!” God forgives us a sin and gives us a purpose for our lives. Pray and that God that He offers forgiveness of sin and tell Him you are willing to do what He wants you to do with your life.
