Psalm 118:6 Do you ever feel like other people know something you don’t? Sometimes it can feel like everyone else knows the secrets to how to get ahead, to succeed, or to avoid bad things happening. While sometimes people just get lucky breaks in life, it’s true that, usually, knowledgeable people know how to get ahead. Knowledge is power after all. No where does more knowledge mean more power in a bigger way than when it comes to having an awareness of God’s presence. Many christians believe that the more Bible knowledge or church knowledge they have, the better off they are. While it’s true that it’s good to know about the Bible and church, simple knowledge of the scriptures isn’t enough to convert to true power in our life. It’s about a knowledge that’s deeper than just the facts of stories told in God’s word. It’s about knowing and being aware of the presence of God in our life. When we know God is with us no matter what, it frees us up and allows Him to do truly great things in our life. How aware are you of God’s presence in your life from day to day?]]>
