Read 2 Kings 6:1-7
In the tri-state, most of us have encountered small town gossip. Everybody knows everybody’s issues, and everyone is talking about it. It can be a tempting thing to get involved in. It can also be frustrating when people keep butting in to situations that they have no business being involved in. However, God is not one of those people who have no business being involved in our situations. He is God, and He is relevant to every situation we encounter. He’s also intimately interested and involved in even the smallest details of our lives.
Losing the ax head was a big deal to the young prophet because it cost much more than he could repay to the person he borrowed it off of. Even though this was a problem much too big for the guy to handle, it wasn’t too big for God to handle, and he came through for the prophet. Nothing is too big for God, but there’s also nothing too small for God. God is involved in every detail, big and small of our lives. Whatever we are up against, whatever we are going through, God is right by our side, helping us through.
Do you ever step back to realize that God is involved in your life and helping you every step of the way? We can sometimes get frustrated or worried about certain areas of our life. Just remember that no detail is too big or too small for God to help lead you through it.]]>
