Matthew 17:20 When we started building the new facility at C3 in South Point, it was the first time I had ever been a part of any sort of construction. I had watched my step dad build a few decks onto ours and our neighbor’s houses back in the day, but I had spent most of that time running off into the woods or playing basketball. Watching the building get built was really interesting to me because of all I learned through each phase of the project. I still remember how exciting it was to see each new completed portion of the building, but I also remember how agonizing the wait seemed to be when you would walk on site and it didn’t seem like anything was happening. It seemed like our building project took forever to complete, but that time was taken to lay the groundwork for an awesome end product. Just like the beginning phases of a building project sets the stage for the entire structure, having bold faith paves the way for God’s miracles in our lives. Faith is the foundation in which God works in amazing ways. We often get caught in the trap of wanting to see God do something great before we will step up and have a bold faith. In God’s world, this is completely backward. Jesus told us that, if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. It’s through bold faith in believing God is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do that we can see God do the miraculous around our lives. Do you find yourself waiting for God to perform miracles before you’ll step out in faith? Maybe God is calling you to be bold before He does something amazing in your life.]]>
