Luke 12:22-31 Yesterday, we read that the first step to breaking out of worry is to trust God and be obedient to Him with the little things in our lives. Even though that helps begin to break the power of worry in our life, it doesn’t fix those big problems. Just because you invited that family member to church doesn’t mean that they will turn their life around. Just because you made a change in your life doesn’t mean all the troubles you’ve been going through will suddenly disappear. In Luke 12, Jesus talks about how God takes care of things when they cannot take care of themselves. When things get too big for you, when you get overwhelmed , you can turn to God to take care of you. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” No matter how big the situation is that you’re facing right now, God will take care of you. It may not always be what we want, when we want, the way we want, but he will always take care of us. So, when it comes to those things that are out of your control, give God what you cannot do. What’s has you trapped by worry? Spend a few minutes asking God to help you give to Him what you cannot do and learn to trust Him with those big things that consume you.]]>
