Exodus 3:10-17 Excuses. Moses tried making excuses to God as to why he couldn’t do what God had asked him to do. Sound familiar? More than likely, we all deal with some sin, addiction, or habit that we make excuses for. Most of us have something in our life that hinders our relationship with God and keeps us from doing what God wants us to do (and most of the time the things we really want to do!). If you struggle through addiction, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem by stopping the excuses and taking responsibility for what you do. Maybe you aren’t an alcoholic or struggle with pornography or drug abuse, but we all have bad habits that may teeter on the border line of addiction that isn’t healthy and hurts our relationships with Christ.
