PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family.
When the tabernacle was set up for worship, God wanted His people to bring him animals without any defects. The people were to bring their best sacrifice to God. Giving away the best cattle or sheep was a hard thing for these farmers because they needed healthy animals to earn a living. Like us, they were tempted to bring God the leftovers of their “real” lives. It can be tempting to give God our second best at times because of everything else that fights for our energy, resources, and attention, but God wants our best. Spend some time with God today asking Him to help you give Him your very best.
