Read Nehemiah 2:11-20 Nehemiah stepped out. He was ready to use all of his past experiences and skills to help his people rebuild their city walls. He was ready to do something great. But, then, opposition came. There were critics who said the project couldn’t be done. There were also people who just didn’t want to see the project happen. They wanted it to fail. They wanted Nehemiah to fail. When you step out to do something important, you’re always going to face some sort of opposition. When you step out to do something great for God, there are going to be critics (sometimes even yourself) who tell you that it can’t be done and people simply hoping for you to fail. As hard as opposition is to handle sometimes, remember that God is with you and will help you push through. Try not to be discouraged when opposition hits. Remember that, more often than not, opposition means that we’re about to see God do something great around us. Action Step: Sometimes, we can be heavy opposition to those around us when THEY decide to step out and do something great or important. We’re often just concerned about them because we care about them. The next time your about to be some one’s opposition, take time first to think through if you’re opposed to what their doing because it’s simply not a wise thing to do or if it is something important they need to do that you need to encourage and help them through. Today’s Prayer: Pray for yourself, others participating in 52 Days to Change Your World, and C3 as a whole that we would face opposition over the next couple of months leading up to Easter head on while we realize that God is with us. Pray we can push through to see God do AMAZING things all around us. —————————————————————————– Go to www.AroundC3.com/52days for more information about C3’s Change Your World in 52 Days Series and challenge.]]>
