2 Corinthians 5:16-18 When I was in High School, I remember playing a basketball game where we were big underdogs. No one expected us to be anywhere close to the other team in the game. Once the game started, though, we played better than we had ever played before. We actually led most of the game until the fourth quarter when a few plays didn’t go our way. All the sudden, instead of being in the lead ready for a major upset, we were once again on the wrong side of the scoreboard pretty much getting blown out. It seemed that everything changed in an instant. During the Christmas story, everyone who met Jesus was changed (Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds, the Magi, etc). God loves to change people’s lives in an instant. When someone meets Jesus, it’s impossible to return to the same things as before. The Christmas story is about God not only saving us from our sins, but, also, how He wants to change us to become more like Christ. God has an amazing plan and purpose for your life. He wants to help you grow to become more like His Son. Have you made the decision to allow God to transform your life? ]]>
