Deuteronomy 11:18-23 My wife gets up every morning around 6 am for work. Like clockwork she typically wakes up right before her alarm goes off. She looks so forward to the rare mornings when she can sleep in, but she usually finds that she can’t sleep much later than when she normally wakes up. Her body is used to waking up at 6 am, so it wants to wake up at 6 am, even though she would prefer to sleep much later. It’s amazing the impact in our life when we do something over and over every day for extended periods of time. If we are serious about living consistently for God, we must consistently do things that help us get there. We have to make habits out of spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible reading, attending church, and serving. When you do those things over and over, God can begin to develop an attitude of consistency in your life. Are you consistent or all over the place when it comes to your spiritual life? What are some things you can do to be more consistent? READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Hebrews 1]]>
