Matthew 6:9-15 One of my guilty pleasures in life is watching the home renovation shows on HGTV. They are awesome to me because I always get a ton of great ideas to do around my own house. I have even made decisions, “that’s what we are going to do to the house.” Problem is, even though I made the decision, I still have to go through the process to make it happen. I haven’t done even one thing that I’ve decided I was going to do from watching those show. Forgiveness is just like that. You can choose to forgive, but that’s only have the battle. After you make the decision, then you have to do the hard part of actually forgiving. it’s hard to forgive. it’s hard to think of the person who hurt you or offended you and not want bad for them. It’s hard to cancel the debt that we believe they should have to pay. As hard as it is to forgive, it’s even hard to keep forgiving. Forgiveness is a decision we have to make, but it’s not a one time decision. Every day, you will have to make the decision on whether to forgive someone or not. it may not always be easy, but it’s always the right thing to do. It’s also always the best thing for you to do because slowly, it will remove that person’s control of you. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Acts 23]]>
