Philippians 4:11-12 My favorite food in the world is turkey. A close second may be the fall dessert, pumpkin roll. Those two reasons together are one of the big reasons why I love Thanksgiving. Those two things are often only available during that time of year. It always makes me a little sad when I get full on Thanksgiving day. I would love to eat a little bit more of the food I love. I’m not satisfied with what I just ate even though I clearly ate enough because I am full. We are like this with alot of things in our life. We think we will be happy if we just have something a little better. We think things would be better if we just had a little more time. We know things would work out well if we just had a little more money. We want more and more, and we fail to realize that, more times than not, God has already provided us with enough of what we truly need. We’ve all bought into the theory that if I just have a little more money, I’ll be happy.  The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil.  We must remember to be content with what God has blessed us with and continue to be good stewards of the wealth he has given to us.]]>
