Read Matthew 8:10-11
Have you ever been working on something that just felt hopeless? Maybe you were trying to grow some sort of plant that began to wilt, put together a piece of furniture where the instructions would be easier to read if they were put together in chinese, assigned a difficult project at work, or struggling in a relationship. Whatever it is, there are few greater feelings than when something doesn’t look like it will work out, and, then, something happens and it starts to work out. The plant begins to bloom, you figure out where that extra piece goes, someone comes through on a project, or you work out your relationship issues.
The great thing about God is that no situation is hopeless when He is involved. It doesn’t matter how bleak things look, He is an expert and bringing something good out of even the darkest situations. Jesus overcame death and the grave, and, because of that, we can have hope in our life. He is there for us every step of our life, and He wants to give us abundant life both now and in eternity. Whatever you are facing that seems hopeless, there can be hope found in God. If you feel like there’s no hope for your life, God specializes in using even those we would least expect.
