Psalm 119:18 A few years ago, I became pretty decent friends with a “that’s awesome” guy. You know the type. No matter what is going on or what happens, they think it’s AWESOME. To these types of people, everything is awesome. They get super excited over the most mundane things. At times it can be annoying because we are suffering through our own negativity. However, it can sometimes be refreshing to be around someone so positive when everyone else around us is typically anything but positive. So much of life is perspective. “That’s awesome” people choose to focus on the positive as opposed to the negative in life like so many of us do. When it comes to our life with God, He doesn’t promise us that everyday will be easy and things will always work out the way that we want them to. But, He does tell us that everything can be awesome if we choose to live and look at our like from His perspective. He promises us that, as long as God is our center, the potential for awesomeness will always be there. Do you focus more on the positive or negative in your life? How can you become a “that’s awesome” kind of person when it comes to your relationship with God?]]>
