Romans 5:6-9 Having friends with kids is the best of both worlds. You get to hang out with them and play with the kids, but you don’t have to bring them home! I constantly find myself laughing at my friends and their kids when the kids get in trouble. It’s funny to see them struggle to tell their kids while putting the dog poop in their mouth isn’t the greatest of ideas. Even though it can be a struggle and, honestly, kind of funny sometimes, children have to learn that what they do impacts their life. Our actions always have consequences.  Thankfully, Jesus paid the price for all of our sins.  If we don’t understand that all actions have consequences, we will never truly understand the gospel and Jesus’ sacrifice.  We can’t truly understand forgiveness until we understand consequences.
