Colossians 3:1-4 One of the most important people in an company is the CEO, the head guy.  Many companies thrive or die based solely on this person’s leadership ability and wisdom.  Some people are great at the business side of things, but they lack the personal touch.  Just because something is good doesn’t mean it should be in a certain position. In life, things can take control of our lives that have no business taking control.  Sometimes, bad things like addiction, bitterness, and jealousy can take over.  Other times, good things like a job, kids, or relationships can get in the way. If we allow anything other than God, even good things, to take control of our life, we are asking for trouble. You need to demote anything that takes God’s place in your life.
