1 Corinthians 11:1, 1 Corinthians 4:16 & Philippians 3:17 Did your parents ever use the phrase “do as I say and not as I do” on you? It’s pretty much trying to give yourself license to do whatever you feel like doing while trying not to feel guilty about the example you’re leaving. Maybe it was how someone treated others, a bad habit or addiction such as drinking or smoking, or just petty every day things. Either way, another old saying holds true, “actions speak louder than words.” In the Bible, Paul was an impressive guy. He was living a life that was worthy to be followed, and people took notice. People wanted to be like Paul, but, maybe more importantly, Paul was so confident in how he lives that he wanted others to be like him as well. We cannot ask anyone to do something we are not willing to do ourselves. Imagine living a life like Paul where you could constantly tell people to live like you. What areas of your life would you need to change to be able to say that? READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Acts 3]]>
