Galatians 6:7-8 Sometimes bad things happen to us, and, other times, we cause bad things to happen. While we often go through “messed up world” pain, there are also times where we experience “stupid decision” pain. We live in a culture where we want to be able to do whatever we want to do without anyone being able to tell us otherwise. However, this isn’t how God works. There are consequences for our actions. The Bible tells us that we will “reap what we sow.” While this doesn’t mean that good things will always happen to people who do good and bad things will always happen to people who do bad, it does mean that we will either be blessed or cursed based upon the decisions we make. If you’ve made bad decisions in life, chances are that there are consequences you’ll have to live with because of those mistakes. However, here’s the good news: God still loves you no matter what and will forgive you no matter how many bad decisions you’ve made. No matter how broken you feel like you are, God will be there to pick up the pieces.]]>
