Hebrews 12:1-3 If you have ever tried to lose weight or go on some sort of financial budget, you know the struggle most of us have in “cutting back.” Sometimes it can be hard to resist those nachos or that shopping spree. When you’ve had or done something that you enjoy, it feels like you are depriving yourself when you take it away. However, many times, we are being short sighted. The advantage of sticking with the diet is getting healthier which is a much greater reward than simply eating nachos. The advantage of sticking to a budget is gaining financial freedom to do the things that God and you want to do with your resources. In every area of life, there are things that really do not matter that we think do. These things cause us to be short sighted and miss out on the things that really do matter in life. It’s time for you to let go of the things that do not matter in life by cutting back, throwing out, or turning them off, so you can truly focus on the things that do matter in your life.]]>
