PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family. Nehemiah knew what he had to do, but it was risky. He could have been executed for approaching the king uninvited, but there was no other way for Nehemiah to see his city restored. The king could have imprisoned Nehemiah, had him killed, or simply dismissed him by reminding Nehemiah that Israel got what they deserved. None of that happened, though, because the king miraculously asked what Nehemiah wanted. The king agreed with Nehemiah and sent him to rebuild Jerusalem. Moments of opportunity can be terrifying, but those situations are often essential to God’s plan in our lives. We need to face them like Nehemiah did with confidence and prayer. Ask God to help you be bold in the face of moments of opportunity that God provides. Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you.
