Moses lost his chance to lead God’s people into the promised land when he failed to listen to God and tried to take matters into his own hands. God showed Moses the land he was missing out on from the top of Mount Nebo. God allowed Moses to see it with his eyes, but God would not allow him to enter it with the people. Moses’ mistakes kept him from seeing all of God’s plans for him come to fruition. While we can never screw up so badly or so much that God will stop loving us or accepting us, our decisions affect what God can and will do in our lives. If we fail to seek God in how we live our lives, we will miss out on all that God wants for our lives. Spend a few minutes to ask God to help you seek Him in your decisions, so you can experience all God has in store for you.
