PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family. Nebuchadnezzar was powerful and evil, and he was merciless when attacking the people of Israel. He killed them in the temple and forced people into slavery. He was irreverent and destroyed God’s temple, and he was shameless in destroying valuable things in Jerusalem. However, Nebuchadnezzar was not invincible. God brought him to Jerusalem to punish this people for their sins. There are cruel and ambitious men around the world and throughout history, but God controls history. For all of Nebuchadnezzar’s might and cruelty, the empire he built was later defeated. God allowed Him to do this because he was willing to allow the temple to be desecrated rather than to have his own people live wickedly and give him a bad name. We should never forget that He is holy and deserves our service in humility and obedience. If there’s been some area you’ve questioned God about, spend time sharing that with God today. Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.]]>
