Luke 22:42 When my wife and I got married, we each brought separate ideas, upbringings, and skill sets to the relationship.  Since we were a little older, we also brought along ideas of how certain household tasks should be performed.  She liked to do things the way her mom did, and I liked to do things the way my mom did.  I didn’t like the way she folded towels, and she didn’t like how I made the bed.  However, the more we live together and adjust to each other’s habits, the more we have been able to create strategies that work for both of us. The same is true when we begin living God’s will in our lives.  We begin with our dreams, our goals, and our expectations. Unfortunately, sometimes these don’t quite match up with what God’s dreams, goals, and expectations are from us. Truly discovering God’s will, however, is when we see a shift to where we desire the same things that God desires for our life.  When we begin to discover God’s will, do something, and desire Him, that’s when we can not only find God’s will, but live in God’s will for our life.]]>
