Read Isaiah 40:28-31

Over the last several years, a pattern has emerged in college football’s championship game. In many of the games, the underdogs pull out an upset over the team that was favored to win. Many times the underdog team comes out more inspired to play because they have heard for weeks how they aren’t fast enough, strong enough, or talented enough. In those cases, that team’s weaknesses actually become their biggest asset, helping them to overcome and defeat the other team.

Many times, we view our weaknesses as handicaps. We think that because we have those weaknesses that we can’t be successful. That they will keep us from being who we want to be. But, that’s not how God works. God loves to take our biggest weaknesses and handicaps and turn them into our greatest strength. He loves to show off His greatness through our strength.

Just because you aren’t an all-star in every area of your life, don’t use that as an excuse to stay on the sideline. Trust God to use you in spite of your weaknesses.
