PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family.

The Israelites were constantly grumbling and complaining that they would never take the land that God had promised them, so God allowed it to happen just as they all had said. Because of their complaining and negativity, God said that none of them, besides Caleb and Joshua who had came back and said they believed they could take the land, would get to enter the promised land. We often have self fulfilling prophecies in our life. Even though God is powerful enough to do great things in our life, sometimes we don’t believe it to be true. Like the Israelites, our negativity and lack of faith in what God can do in our life causes us to miss out on some of those amazing things. Pray today and ask God to help you to quit being negative and trust He can do great things in your life.
