Read Luke 19:1-10
Have you ever had a friend who just began seeing a new significant other? Chances are, and rightfully so, you begin seeing them less and less until they suddenly invite you to be in their wedding. People in love will do anything in order to see each other, no matter what it takes.
Zacchaeus was a short guy, but that’s not the only thing that kept him from seeing Jesus. Zacchaeus was consumed with his love for money and other things in this life. They controlled him, and, because he loved those things so much, it almost kept him from seeing Jesus change his life.
