Read Matthew 7:7-8
If you’ve ever had a dog, you know how determined those little creatures can be. It doesn’t matter how much I try to keep away from our pup, block her away from certain parts of the house, or tell her no, she finds a way to get into something she’s not supposed to. Nothing, not even me, can get in the way of her finding a random sock, dryer sheet, or table scraps to get into.
Zacchaeus was a determined little guy. He didn’t let anything stand in his way of knowing Jesus, and he didn’t let anything keep him from living the life God created for him after he met Him. Zacchaeus didn’t allow any obstacles to derail his pursuit of knowing Jesus and living for Him.
