SPIRITUAL TIP – Excuses Read Luke 10:27-29.. – What things about your life do you think God wants to be different? How will these changes draw you closer to God? – What are some of the dangers of continually making excuses when it comes to doing the things God desires you to do?

DAILY PRAYER

Ask God what He wants to be different in your life. Commit to doing whatever is necessary to make those changes.

HEALTH TIP – Anti-Sumo Wrestlers Diet (One large meal)

There is only one sport where they actually aim to gain as much body fat as possible: Sumo Wrestling. Since Sumo Wrestlers have mastered the art of getting fat, we are going to do the opposite of their five most “unhealthy” diet tips. According to their philosophy – here is the second thing every wrestler must do to get fat. Sumo Wrestler Goal #2 – Eat only one or two meals a day. One famous Sumo wrestler is reported to eat 10 bowls of stew, eight bowls of rice, 130 pieces of sushi, and 25 portions of barbecued beef all in one meal…and still have room for dessert. Their bodies can only process so much food at once, so the rest gets stored as fat. Your 2nd Goal – Eat several smaller meals (or snacks) per day. Instead of only eating 2 or 3 times a day (or many times one large meal), try to eat 6 to 7 times a day with a small meal or snack (at least 100-200 calories) every 2-3 hours.

HOME TIP – Hot Spots

A Hot Spot is an area, when left unattended will gradually take over. A good analogy is of a hot spot in a forest fire, if left alone it will eventually get out of hand and burn up the whole forest. This is what happens in our homes. If left unattended, the hot spot will grow and take over the whole room as well as making the house look awful. When you walk into a room, the hot spot is the first thing you see. Your eyes are locked on it. Set your timer for 2 minutes and practice putting out one of your Hot Spots. You don’t have to work till you have finished; just do what you can in 2 minutes. For example: put your bills in one place. This will keep you from having to search for them.]]>
