God had chosen King David to take over for King Saul after Saul had disobeyed God. David was doing great things and gaining notoriety, and Saul began to be jealous of David. He actually was trying to hunt down David when he had to stop to use the bathroom in a cave. Little did he know, David was hiding in the cave he was relieving himself in. It would have been a perfect opportunity for David to take a shortcut and even save his own life by taking King Saul’s life. David wouldn’t stoop to that level. David, even though there were times in his life where he messed up, always tried to live a life of integrity. Ask God to help you live a life of integrity by doing the right thing even when doing something else would be different today during your prayer time.]]>
