PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family. The Jews who were rebuilding the temple could have used some help, but the physical work wasn’t the most important thing happening. The rebuilding of the temple was spiritual work. Some enemies offered to come help rebuild the temple, but the Jewish leaders decided to decline. It looked like a mistake because they needed all the local friends they could get. However, those who offered friendship quickly became bitter enemies. There are time when we have to say that true worship of God is more important that success if that success would lead us to compromise our relationships with God. If you’ve made compromises in your faith for success or anything else, confess them to God and ask for forgiveness. Ask God to help you stand firm on your convictions in the future. Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.]]>
