Bible In A Year | Read: Ephesians 1
Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power (Eph. 3:7)
Less Guilt, More Love
A young mother a few years ago shared her feelings when attending C3 for the first time. She said she remembers feeling extremely isolated and lonely. She’d never attended a church like this before, and was nervous. But her longing for community and adult conversation outweighed her apprehension.
It was another C3er that sought her out, connected with her and then ultimately invited her to help her weekly with our children’s ministry.
The original C3ers service and passion for God altered many of our lives forever. This lady served first as a coordinator, then a teacher, and eventually went on to become an amazing leader herself.
God’s grace changed the trajectory of her life in every way, and has since been able to help others understand and find their place in ministry. When you serve God, you’re more than a volunteer. You’re a Kingdom-building missionary.
Thought For Today
Where do you serve? Do you think of yourself as a volunteer, or do you see yourself as more? A Kingdom builder? A missionary? Do you think of yourself as “called”?
Action Steps
Bible: What is God showing me? What am I going to do about it?
Bless: Serve one person through word, action, or gift today.
Join us each morning as some C3ers discuss the daily readings from Made For More. Tuesday Bonjour & Your Calling.
