1 Corinthians 12:9-10 Have you ever tried to prove you could do something on your own when it was a bit too much for you? It could have been a work or school project, handy work around the house, or anything like that. Often times, it ends up becoming an utter mess because you really couldn’t handle it. In our lives, we often think we can “handle it.” Truth is, though, we often can’t really handle much of anything without God’s help. Many times, we get trapped in sin or bad choices because we thought we could take care of something ourselves when it was much bigger than us. The good news is that God wants to help you and direct you through life. You just have to learn to trust Him and lean on Him. If you do this, you’ll find that, with God’s help, we can handle and do much more that we could ever imagine by following Him and doing what He’s asked us to do.
