Ezekiel 22:30 & Matthew 5:13-16 My wife and I recently brought a puppy home. The dog is smart, but she might be just too smart for her own good. As we’ve began to train her, you can tell she has learned exactly what she is supposed to do. She just doesn’t always want to do it. She’s lucky she’s cute because it can be frustrating to know she knew exactly what she was supposed to do but just didn’t do it. I wonder if this is how God feels with us most of the time. God has a great plan and purpose for our lives, but our biggest problem is that many of us just don’t do what we should be doing. We aren’t fulfilling our purpose, and, many times, we aren’t even taking care of our responsibilities. God has to be looking at us and thinking, “they know exactly what to do, they just aren’t doing it!” Followers of Jesus need to step up, take care of their responsibilities, and fulfill their purpose. Specifically, we need men who will stand up and do what’s right, and lead people and families in the right spiritual direction. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Galatians 4]]>
