Read: Mark 10:14 & Ephesians 5:29-30

Christianity requires growth. We are called to be active in our personal growth as well as the church’s growth. Just as our bodies need nutrients to remain healthy and grow, the church needs the next generation. Before nutrients can do anything beneficial, they must be digested into forms that our bodies can use. As Christians, it is our responsibility to “digest” the younger generation in a way that shows God’s love so clearly they feel an overwhelming desire to continue spreading His love to others. Jesus brought children to Himself so everyone could have a physical understanding of what it means to be a child of God. I’ve had people tell me they’re intimidated by children. Others say they’re not good with kids. Children and youth can be immature and somewhat alien, but they are the church’s nutrients and by investing in them we pass on the investment Christ made in each of us.]]>
