1 Corinthians 12:14-21 Have you ever been to the movies alone?  Once the movie begins, it’s actually not too bad.  Before the movie, though, it’s a different story. It’s awkward. It feels like everyone is staring at you, and a lot of times, you feel secretly jealous that everyone else coming in has a friend or significant other to chat with during the commercials and previews.  Many things in life were meant to be enjoyed together–whether with one person or a group of people.  Our faith is one of those.  While having a daily quiet time is imperative for developing our faith, God also doesn’t want us to experience our faith alone. He created others to encourage us in our faith, to lean on each other when times get tough, and to continue finding new people to invite to church.  He designed outreach opportunities, small groups, and volunteer opportunities to teach us to trust others, and in some cases, hold each other accountable. Think through the ways that you can involve others in your faith. Whatever you do, though, remember that God didn’t intend for us to do life alone but to enjoy it with those around us.]]>
