Colossians 1:19-23 I’m not naturally very handy around the house or with cars and things like that. In fact, when I run into a problem or need to work on something, I usually consult google and get myself ridiculously confused, before I eventually call my grandpa to come show me how to do something. I really enjoy watching my grandpa work on something. He is very good at taking a problem that seems completely confusing to me and fixing it in a straightforward way. God’s very much like this. We all have problems in our life. We have big, complicated, confusing problems. We search and search for the answers until we have no choice but to call upon our heavenly Father for help. Our God specializes in taking the random things that make no sense in our lives and redeeming them to make something good out of them. Jesus’ resurrection gives purpose behind our suffering. Jesus’ suffering and sacrifice is what allows us to have a relationship with God in the first place. Because Jesus rose from the dead, the broken pieces of our lives can have purpose.  Instead of trying to figure out your problems on your own, call of your heavenly Father for help.
