Matthew 11:28-30 When she was young, my sister would drive people nuts because she would constantly ask the question, “WHY?” It didn’t matter what you said or were talking about, she would just say, “Why?” She would often string 6 or 7 “Why?’s” together before someone would finally just say “Because!” and stop answering her questions. Part of me thinks my sister was just trying to be annoying, but another part of me thinks that she just really wanted to know “why”. In our lives, we are constantly looking for the answers to our questions. “Why is this happening to me?” “Why would they do something like that?” What am I supposed to do with my life?” “What am I supposed to do now?” We worry and stress over the answers. We look them up online. We watch people on TV hoping they have the answers. We are constantly asking “Why?” and constantly being disappointed because we don’t receive an answer. Why doesn’t God answer all of our questions? Maybe it’s because Jesus, first and foremost, is the answer to our most basic questions. We constantly leave Him out of the equation and wonder why we can’t figure anything out. Maybe instead of asking God “Why?” today, ask God He wants you to do and what He wants you to learn from what you’re going through today. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Galatians 3]]>
